With the first pitch of the 2025 Major League Baseball season days away, teams have unveiled new concession items that will catch your attention. From baseball bats filled with popcorn to a 26-inch burrito, a handful of teams are going all out for the new season.

Let’s check out some of the tastiest and wildest items on the menu this year:

The Boomstick Burrito

Everything is bigger in Texas! The Texas Rangers introduced a 26-inch burrito stuffed with rice, beans, taco meat, pico de gallo, nacho cheese, sour cream, and lettuce, all wrapped in a soft flour tortilla. The burrito is a rendition of the Rangers’ classic Boomstick Hot Dog, a 24-inch all-Angus beef hot dog that has been a staple on the ballpark menu since the Rangers played at Globe Life Park. The burrito will run you $35.99, possibly more expensive than a ticket in the upper deck to a summer game in Arlington.

The Popcorn Bat

Two stadiums will have the Popcorn Bat available for purchase this season, one on either side of the country. PNC Park, home of the Pittsburgh Pirates, and Oracle Park, home of the San Francisco Giants, will offer the collectible item to stadium goers. The 98-ounce bat is filled with popcorn and comes with a removable lid and a wooden baseball bat-like texture. The bat will be branded with the team’s logo depending on which stadium it is purchased at. The Popcorn Bat costs $22.59 but comes with free refills.

The Celebration Cake Shake

For the second consecutive season, the Chicago White Sox have introduced a mountainous milkshake. Last year, the team sold the Campfire Milkshake which was met with rave reviews. This year, the organization concocted the Celebration Cake Shake, a milkshake with birthday cake ice cream, confetti cake, a pinwheel cookie, and a cherry. The pinwheel cookie sticking out of the top of the milkshake is a nod to the pinwheels that sit atop the scoreboard at Rate Field. The Celebration Cake Shake was created to honor the White Sox’s 125th anniversary and the 20th anniversary of the team’s World Series win in 2005.

The Cotton Candy Mask

The Cotton Candy Mask combines two favorites for kids at the ballpark - mascots and cotton candy. A traditional bag of cotton candy you see vendors walking up and down sections with is wrapped in plastic and attached to a foam mascot mask. The mask comes in one size but is adjustable for kids and adults. PNC Park will sell Cotton Candy Masks representing The Pirate Parrot, the Pirates’ mascot since 1979. Fans can also purchase a Phillie Phanatic Cotton Candy Mask this season at Citizens Bank Park, home of the Philadelphia Phillies.

Petroni Tiramisu and Petroni/Mister Softee Sundae

Created by Bronx native Christian Petroni, the New York Yankees are offering two new deserts at Yankee Stadium in 2025. The Petroni Tiramisu is made with espresso mascarpone cream, lady finger cookies, and cocoa powder. The Petroni/Mister Softee Sundae features vanilla ice cream with hazelnut hot fudge, cannoli praline crunch, and vanilla panna. Both items will be served in plastic Yankees-branded mini helmets.

The Slugger

The reigning champs are taking the infamous Dodger Dog to the next level. The Los Angeles Dodgers will offer The Slugger to fans coming to Dodger Stadium this season. The 16-inch jalapeño cheddar sausage is topped with corn relish, white cheddar cheese sauce, cilantro crema, and crunchy tortilla strips. If the 16-inch sausage wasn’t enough food, The Slugger comes with a pound of fries on the side. The Slugger will cost Dodger fans $40 and can be found in multiple sections throughout the concourse.

What Up Corn Dog

Have you ever had a blue corn dog? Now you can try the newest concession item at T-Mobile Park in Seattle. The What Up Corn Dog is a Mariners blue, honey-battered corn dog with a spicy crunch. The colorful corn dog is served with nacho cheese and can be found in four sections throughout the park, two in the lower concourse and two in the upper concourse.

Which new wild concession item would you like to try this season?
